About
Bridging the lab and the field.
I've spent 5+ years taking Free Space Optics (FSO) and next-generation communication systems out of the lab and into some of India's hardest terrain. I lead cross-functional teams on defence-grade projects and keep mission-critical links running.
My job is to connect technical execution with leadership. I keep field operations, R&D and senior stakeholders aligned, from Proof-of-Concepts with the Indian Army to state-wide rollouts with the Government of Gujarat.

Experience
Six years, one mission: reliable light-based links.

Runs a 20-member team across site survey, deployment, training and customer support. Leads end-to-end delivery of PoCs and mission-critical deployments, from high altitude to coastal terrain.
- Led multiple PoCs and field deployments on military timelines, with reliable device alignment and secure integration into Army networks.
- Standardised deployment checklists and alignment procedures, cutting field rework and raising first-pass success.
- Set up direct escalation and technical-review channels between field teams and R&D for faster iteration.

- Directed a resilient network connecting 14,423 gram panchayats across Gujarat with BBNL and the Government of Gujarat.
- Managed on-site deployments and integration with cross-functional teams.

- Worked across teams on network performance, security incident troubleshooting and reliable data transmission.

FindLOS: Line-of-Sight Checker
Checks line of sight between two points using Google Cloud elevation and terrain data. Bulk mode takes Excel or PDF input and exports PDF reports or a combined Excel file. Deployed on Vercel.

Defence FSO deployments
FSO links for the Indian Army and Navy at high-altitude and remote posts. Multi-location PoCs delivered to senior officials, then taken to full-scale rollout.
